Gem Stone Music JA
The storage Gem Stone Music JA uses, which parts are essential, and how optional analytics is controlled.
Effective 31 October 2026 · Version 1.1
This policy explains the cookies, local storage and similar technologies used on the Gem Stone Music JA platform, what each one does, and how you control the optional ones.
In this policy, “storage” means both cookies and browser storage such as local and session storage. Some platform functions work with browser storage rather than cookies, and both are covered here.
You do not need an account to read this policy or to change your choices.
Essential storage is needed for the platform to work and cannot be switched off through the cookie banner. Without it, signing in, completing a payment, or holding a booking session together would not be possible.
These items do not track you across other websites, are not used for advertising, and are not shared for marketing purposes.
With your permission, the platform loads Google Analytics to measure how visitors use Gem Stone Music JA: which pages and artist profiles are viewed, which events are opened, and which actions are completed. This helps us understand what people are looking for and improve the platform.
Optional analytics is the only optional category offered on this platform. It starts off and stays off until you accept it.
Where analytics has been granted, Google may set measurement cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container> (up to two years) and _gid (24 hours) to distinguish visits. Their duration is set by the provider and may change.
Gem Stone Music JA does not currently use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking technologies. No advertising identifier is created, and no advertising network receives information about your use of the platform.
If advertising technologies are introduced in future, this policy and the consent interface will be updated first, the new category will be presented as a separate optional choice that is off by default, and it will not be loaded before you grant it. This paragraph is a statement of current fact, not a description of an active technology.
On your first visit, a cookie banner presents two equally weighted choices alongside a separate preferences control:
Refusing optional cookies never restricts your access: you can browse, follow talent, buy tickets and use your account with essential storage only.
Your decision is stored in your browser and recorded on our server with the decision, the categories granted, the notice version (2026-10-31-b), the page where you decided, the time, and whether you were signed in. Where you were signed in, the record is associated with your account. A privacy-preserving hash of your IP address is stored instead of the address itself.
The banner appears until you make a choice. It is not shown again after a recorded decision, unless the set of optional categories changes in a way that requires a fresh choice, in which case the new choice is requested with the updated notice.
You can revisit your choice at any time using in the website footer, on this page, or from your account settings. The preferences panel opens with your current choice already reflected.
If you withdraw analytics consent:
Withdrawal does not delete records already lawfully created, such as an earlier consent record, which is kept so we can demonstrate when and how a choice was made.
You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings. Clearing it removes your saved choice, so the banner will ask again, and analytics will not run until you accept.
Essential storage lasts for the period needed by the function it supports: your cookie choice is kept until you change it, clear your browser or the notice requires a fresh decision, and session items expire when the session ends or within a short period.
Analytics cookie durations are set by the analytics provider, as described above. Consent records kept on our server are retained as evidence of your choice and are handled under our Privacy Notice.
This list reflects the providers used for storage and measurement at the date of this version. Other providers involved in identity verification, payments and support are described in the Privacy Notice.
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent you from signing in, completing a booking payment or receiving tickets, because those functions depend on it.
Browser-level “do not track” and global privacy control signals are respected as a preference, but this platform does not run cross-site tracking that such a signal would otherwise switch off.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@gemstonemusicja.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, the Complaints & Appeals procedure explains what happens next, and you may also contact Jamaica’s Office of the Information Commissioner where the matter falls within its jurisdiction.
This is version 1.1, effective 31 October 2026. Version 1.1 corrects the list of service providers only: it names the storage and delivery services actually in use and removes an attribution that could not be supported. No storage category, choice or control described in version 1.0 has changed.
If our storage or tracking practices change, this policy is updated and the notice version is shown again where a fresh choice is needed. Earlier versions are retained with the consent records that named them.
You can accept or decline optional cookies at any time. Your choice won’t affect your access to Gem Stone Music.
